This garden was once an old putting green in need of a huge overhaul. As the artificial turf became increasingly moldy each year, a coin was tossed and the wife got the golfer-husband to agree to turn it into a vegetable garden. (She bought him a new set of clubs to sweeten the deal.)
The turf was removed, raised beds were built, and the area was fenced to protect the garden from critters. Within a few short weeks the garden began to explode with colors, tastes and textures. Tomatoes, lettuce, eggplant, peppers, herbs and more grace this 20' x 40' vegetable garden.
