My design philosophy grows from the conviction that the most beautiful, enduring landscapes begin with what already belongs--- the regional/native plant communities that define a place. What began as a pursuit of ornamental design has evolved into a commitment to ecological integrity and restoration. Native landscapes have become my truest teachers. I’m drawn to creating spaces that feel alive and deeply rooted, where art and ecology meet in quiet harmony. Each design evolves through intentional observation and a response to it. I'm guided by natural rhythms of a specific site. In this way, the work becomes less about control and more about collaboration — an act of listening to the land, understanding its cues, and shaping spaces that restore balance, support native wildlife, and invite meaningful connection.
